About TPS Digital Dental Lab

TPS Digital Dental Lab was founded by John W. Lee, CDT, TE — a technician raised in dentistry and shaped by both clinical and laboratory experience. As the son of a dentist, John began working in his father’s practice during the early CEREC Red Cam era and has remained deeply immersed in digital dentistry ever since.

After earning his AAS in Dental Laboratory Technology and achieving certification, John spent the next ten years training under a highly respected aesthetic technician, refining advanced hand-layering and cosmetic techniques before ultimately purchasing the laboratory. That decade of analog artistry now informs every digital design.

Since working with Dentsply Sirona’s inLab system beginning in 2015, John has focused on translating traditional aesthetic principles into precise digital workflows — ensuring restorations are not only accurate, but naturally beautiful.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is your standard turnaround time?

Most single-unit zirconia restorations are completed within 5 business days from the time the case is received. Implant restorations, aesthetic cases, and aligner treatments may require additional time depending on design complexity.

What scanners and file formats do you accept?

We accept STL files from all major intraoral scanners, including iTero, 3Shape, Medit, Planmeca, and others. If you're unsure about compatibility, contact us and we’ll help confirm your workflow.

What materials do you use for crowns and restorations?

TPS uses high-quality American-made zirconia materials for strength and reliability. Our product tiers include TPS Fortify (3Y zirconia) for maximum strength and TPS Elevate (4Y/5Y zirconia) for enhanced translucency and aesthetic cases.

How do I submit a clear aligner case?

Submit your digital scan along with the TPS Align™ Rx form and the optional photos outlined in our Patient Photo Protocol. These resources are available in the Resources section of our website.

Do you provide implant driver and torque information?

Yes. Our Implant Driver & Torque Reference Guide is available for download in the Resources section and helps ensure proper seating and torque recommendations for implant restorations.

What if adjustments or modifications are needed?

Our goal is predictable fit and aesthetics. If adjustments are needed, we work directly with your office to resolve the case quickly and efficiently.

Do you offer shipping or local pickup for cases?

TPS Digital Dental Lab provides reliable case shipping using trusted carriers, and local offices may arrange pickup or drop-off when convenient. If your office has specific scheduling or delivery needs, contact us and we’ll work with you to coordinate the best option.
